In 2018, Mayor Bill de Blasio declared August 28th as Angela Yee Day, honoring her impact on culture and community. I led the design and art direction for the event’s first-ever visual identity, creating a bold red, green, and black aesthetic that captured Brooklyn’s energy and Yee’s influence. My work established the foundation for this now-annual celebration.
